Dear Friends,
In Hollywood, life moves at 24 frames per second, and in

just one of those frames a life could be cut short.  You better not blinkOur director has just been shot!  Can he discover his would-be mur-
derer before his untimely demise?  Follow his journey as he enters a plot more sinister than his own film noir thriller.

Can he use his filmmaking tech-
niques of manipulating time and image
while maneuvering through a real world of femmes fatales and kneecap bustersto uncover the truth?  Find out in NOIR
We are delighted to present the World Premiere of NOIR, a multimedia / dance / theater production written by Kalle Macrides, directed by Cory Einbinder, and presented in collaboration with Laura Peterson Choreography and the New York City College of Technology.  It will have a limited engagement of 6 performances from April 23rd through May 2nd on Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 pm at the Voorhees Theatre, 186 Jay Street, Downtown Brooklyn (F train to York St or A/C train to High St).

See ground breaking technology and innovative theater design at work in a brand-new, old-time noir mystery.  Functioning as a modern morality play, the genre explores the conflict of individuals grappling with

their humanity within a violent urban landscape.  NOIR expands the iconic cinematic style to the stage through dance, music, language, and multi-
media, enabling our Creative Staff and Performers to offer a unique theater experience packed with thrills and delights!

NOIR is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.  In Kings County the Decentralization Program is administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council, Inc. (BAC).
Adhesive Theater Project has received funding from the 2009 JPMorgan Chase Regrant Program, also administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council, Inc. (BAC).
Adhesive Theater Project is celebrating its 10th year of creating experimental cross-disciplinary work through collaboration with professional artists of all mediums, particularly those with a non-theatrical background  -  from fashion designers to blues musicians, engineers to illustrators.  By challenging these artists to work in the theater we create new perspectives for live performance.  By integrating live music, visual arts, metaphor, and narrative storytelling, we create epic experiences that excite the audience's imagination.

Even the smallest donation goes a long, long way.
