Theatreworks, the theatrical troupe at New York City College of Technology, will host readings of six new plays on six nights in December 2008, beginning at 7:00 pm, in the College's Voorhees Theatre, 186 Jay Street (north of Tillary), Downtown Brooklyn. Admission is free. |
Thursday, December 4th | Parable of a Spider |

The audience will be active in this performance. Parable of a Spider is
a play made up of separate parts, with each part composed of people talking about things
that pertain to them. The order of the parts and the number of parts presented is
determined by audience reaction.

Friday, December 5th | Baby Rats |

and Jem shoot on goal, while JayJAy tends the farm.

Saturday, December 6th | Beach Blanket Bluebeard |

An exploratory textual work where Petunia crushes a gal with an elevator, turns
black-and-white, throws away a telephone, wires people to trees, avoids being burnt
with a hot iron, is maybe loving, and rides a tandem bike near some bottles on her
breaks and non-breaks from the office.
