Company Officers

Adhesive Theater Project had two officers: Cory Einbinder, Artistic Director, and Kalle Macrides, Executive Director.

Cory Einbinder — Artistic Director

As Artistic Director, Cory Einbinder is credited across the production record with directing, visual design, video, puppetry, choreography, sets, props, lighting, performance, and adaptation, depending on the project. The combination changes from show to show. On Chantecler, the directing framework held together live illustration, a band, masks, puppets, and physical theater. On R.U.R.: A Futurist Folk Opera, the credits join writing and directing with choreography and lyrics. On NOIR, directing and production design turned cinematic framing into stage action. For The Service Road, the listed role is video and puppet design as well as performance.

Kalle Macrides — Executive Director

As Executive Director, Kalle Macrides appears throughout the record as a company officer and collaborator. The production credits name her as performer, writer, script-development partner, and dramaturg on different projects. NOIR is credited as her play. I, Object! names her among its three creators. R.U.R. credits her with script development and dramaturgy, and several productions include her in the cast.

A structure built around collaboration

The mission explains the company’s method more clearly than a conventional hierarchy could. Adhesive set out to bring artists from outside theater into the process and to build stage work from their different habits of looking and making. That required directors, writers, performers, musicians, designers, illustrators, engineers, and craftspeople to contribute to the same storytelling system.

The detailed credits show that method in practice. A production might include a music director and a band alongside a puppet maker, an illustrator, a video designer, a dramaturg, a costume designer, and a stage manager. The Service Road added live sound effects and stop-motion animation. NOIR added interactive systems and choreographed movement. I, Object! placed props, puppets, costumes, animation, and live video inside an ensemble-created piece.

Leadership in this history is therefore connected to assembly: choosing the collaborators, shaping the shared language of a project, and keeping its moving parts coherent in performance. Individual names appear in the cast and creative-team lists on each production page. The broader mission and history are on About Us, and the complete chronology is on Projects & Events.
